"User login" on the CSAA Website?

You may have noticed a "User login" link on CSAA webpages.  Creating a user account allows you to update your CSAA profile which includes information about your interests and areas of expertise.  CSAA can then use this information to facilitate building connections between the alumni, the department and current students. Alum Spotlight: Keeping up CS skills while on the "mommy track"

Sue Allen (BS '71) is one of the first graduates of the BYU CS program.   She began her career debugging COBOL compilers on Univac mainframe computers for New England Mutual Life Insurance Company before quiting to stay home with 4 children and various foster children. In this spotlight article, she shares her insights on using and maintaining CS skills while remaining at home to raise children. Her solution is quite simple: volunteer!

CSAA Homecoming Dinner 2006

The 2006 Homecoming Dinner will be held in the courtyard of the new JFSB which is located just south of the TMCB.  In case of inclimate weather, the dinner will be held in the Terrace Court of the Wilkinson Student Building.   If you requested tickets, they have been sent to the email address you provided.  If you did not recieve your tickets, come anyway.  We'll bring a copy of the list. 2006 Honored Alumni Lecture to be given by Dallan Quass

Dallan Quass will give the 2006 College of Physical and Mathematical Science Honored Alumni Lecture.  The title of Quass' lecture is "Trust in the Lord" and the lecture will be given at 11 am in 1170 TMCB on the BYU Campus.  Dallan Quass is a BYU CS Alum and former president of the BYU CS Alumni Association.  Friends and Alumni are welcome to attend. CSAA Homecoming Dinner set for October 20

The CSAA is pleased to invite alumni and friends of the department, along with their families, to the annual CS Homecoming Dinner on Friday October 20 begining at 5:30 pm.  The dinner will be held in the new JFSB courtyard and feature a new menu.  Free tickets are required and can be obtained by creating or updating your CSAA profile.
